The Duodora was invented by Dora Tompkins, an editor of the Nutmegger, a poetry magazine published in Connecticut during the 1970s. The structure consists of two stanzas with seven lines in each stanza. Each stanza has lines of 4/6/5/5/5/10/10 syllables per line, the first line of the first stanza is repeated as the first line of the second stanza, and the last line of the second stanza must rhyme with the last line of the first stanza, as demonstrated in the following links: http://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/duodora/ http://forums.familyfriendpoems.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=104952 Let the creativity flow from your soul!
