Question about government in fantasy writing projects....
Hey everyone! Fantasy and Science Fiction Society newbie here! I am currently working on a fantasy project (D&D/LOTR would be a good example of what I am aiming for) and wanted to ask anyone/everyone here about how they handle thing such as government in a fantasy setting...? Do you base a society's leadership and authority on real life examples, or you create your own custom-crafted government altogether?
