You should go. I’m in love with Merida, the capitol of thevyucatan in Mexico. It’s a very popular tourist place, but it’s not a carnival environment like Cancun or other coastal cities. It’s actually 30 km in from the coast. I love it and walk almost everywhere, but there are thousands of Uber’s and I’ve had nothing but pleasure from using them.

Air fare is about $550 round trip from Northern California where I live, San Francisco area, and I stay at an air B&B that’s a restored 1850 hacienda at $50 a nite. I’m going back May 4th for 12 days.

I have a lot of regrets from things I’ve never done and can tell you with authority that memories are a LOT better to have.
