The Demon Beast
By Lisa Noe
The moment you left I began to cry,
Then he showed up at my door with his lies.
I knew he was a friend of yours, so I trusted him.
He poured it on thick, knew I was weak, came to me in a whim.
I finally gave in to them
I let he and is family take over my home.
He said he would watch it, through our stuff they roamed.
They took everything and left me with debt.
I went to the police, they did nothing yet.
I don't think they're going to, so now I fret .
It made me feel like there's no one to trust.
But the Lord has come to me in a dream, told me forgiveness is a must.
I will forgive but I can not trust, He is the demon, you can see his crust.
