Times have changed since my childhood days
Fridays were special for Dad had pay
His suit was retrieved from the pawn
Because he needed ito put it on
Fish and chips was Fridays treat
Because Catholic didn't eat meet
Friday Dad would look neat
On the corner in his suit each week
But come Monday morn
Suit was back in the pawn
To provide the food to eat.
