The "Leave a Comment" comment block that loads when you click to view all comments is dynamically loaded, so it works different than the other embedded comment fields.

But perhaps that's the solution I hadn't considered before... just making all the comment forms load from the server as needed, rather than embedding them in the page loads. I'll have to see how much that is to re-do.
