Lesson Five Discussion Questions What is your understanding of noun complements and adjective complements and how they are used in language? Adjective compliments are like personal compliments, as in you look good, or her hair is beatiful. It seems that noun compliments are more descriptive than complimentory. Of course I could just be thinking in a single direction, but that looks worthy of note to me. How do you feel about your understanding of the noun complement and the adjective complement? I feel that I have much to learn and much to remember. On a serious note--well more a professional point, I will find a better outlook on my writing. I don't yet know how well I'll grasp and retain from these lessons, however I am learning and attempting to apply them. Are you beginning to understand the difference between active and passive verbs? What is that difference? How will you use that understanding in your own writing? Well that's the real question, and for now I would just say that I am more aware. I will be more appreciative, and I thimnk practice is the way. |
