I don't exactly how to help as I am still trying to understand the problem.

So I went to the folder and saw it said "No visible items" to me.

Doesn't work that way. The following is from "Invalid Item"  "Folders are not considered static items! Please do not think if you post your poem, short story, etc. in the description of your folder that it will show up as a static item. Folders are simply a storage area for your portfolio items."

So you have to upload what pieces you want in it as static items and place those in the folder.

As for the folder in the folder part....tried to save it to itself?
