I like both swaps and possessions, the former being fun because the character knows someone is running around in their body as well. The biggest thing for me is having the character end up in someone very different from themself. Not just, say, the opposite sex their own age, but someone older, younger, married, skinny, overweight, not human etc. I like making them deal with unexpected situations and physical problems.
