This is an excerpt from my novel in progress called Finding Alexis, the story of a man who finds out he has an 18-year-old daughter. I set it in my hometown of Buffalo, NY, and the surrounding areas and intend on making the setting as much of a character in the story as my MC (Brian) and his daughter Alexis.
