Bummer that my lack of a Premium Membership prohibits me from providing you a "snapshot" of the All Poetry submissions page, because I'm not sure we're accurately communicating. The small type that I think you saw at the end of a or some AP poems is in fact author's notes. However, those notes are entered on the AP submissions page. When submitting to AP, there's a Title box, a poem (submission) box, a Comments Request box, a Category box, and an Author's Notes box. You would not see that Author's Notes box unless you brought up the submissions page by clicking on the Write tap of AP's main page. My request / suggestion for an Author's Notes box was not simply to format comments into small font text, but to have a "conventionalized" Author's Notes section which everyone would clearly recognize as Author's Notes and not possibly confuse them as being part of the work on display. I say this, because as a pretty newbie to Writing.com, I've already received a complaint or two from reviewers thinking that notes I've placed subsequent to my pieces, i.e. at the bottom, are part of the piece. The intent of my suggestion is to eliminate that sort of confusion. In the meanwhile, I think I might employ your suggestion of smaller font size to at least add an extra layer that may help to ward off misapprehension. Thanks as always for getting back to me.
