My mother is very religious; she was and still is my comfort. She once asked me, "Have you ever sensed someone near or felt a hand on your shoulder, turned and saw no one?"

I replied, "Yes."

My mom smiled and said, "That is your father, checking up on you. You can't really see him but you can sense him, feel his presence. He and the good Lord are always with you."
