Science Fiction Short Story Contest

First, I've read all your stories and enjoyed them all. So, thank you for sharing your creativity.

It's been months since I've been inspired to write any fiction, but your stories changed that! I wrote my own little homage to your stories this evening:
"A Walking Shadow" 
The ending is a little trite, and the references to Zork are certainly dated...but then I haven't played a computer game since the 80s, so I'm dated, too.

Anyway, a big thank you to all the contestants for inspiring me to start writing again.
