Things is, many of these stock sites sell memberships for image hubs that many people download pics for their blogs, self-published book covers, and whatnot, and many of these sites offer a promotional 'free trial' where I can snag up to twenty images and quit. You better believe that people are making money off the blogs and books, so why would there be a rule against using stocks from these sites to acquire gifts points that can't even be redeemed for money (granted, most of these pics are free only because of the promotion)? I can see kicking off those pics with the corporate watermark image over the pic that says "Hey! This pic is not paid for!" (case in point, this page of Shutterstock stock photos)
I do respect the rules, however, for whatever reason they may exist. Again, if you can site that rule or link a post that corrects me from this site, I'll look 'er over and decide my next move.
