I removed the first older "content rating" link and left the link to the item which has a "new window" link to the right of it.

As for losing content when you switch pages accidentally... we highly recommend Lazarus for Chrome to help loosing all of your work if you click to the wrong page or hit the wrong button. It's sorta a browser dependent thing, in terms of what is stored and what is not, but Lazarus usually keeps track of everything:
