Meeting a Stranger

Terry was a girl who was of simple mind and wished for very little from life.
People would take advantage of her, because she could not say no to people.
She was afraid of hurting their feelings, or perhaps making them mad at her.
She was protected by her family, however one day the phone rang and on the other
Line was a man who would devour the young girl. One moment she was innocent
And sweet and in the blink of an eye she was forever changed.
He lured her to a meeting place, where there was no one to save her.
A neighbor saw Terry leave the house and he had always been smitten with her so he
Followed her for a while to see where she was going. The man who had lured Terry to
The remote location was waiting to take her away and ravish her. She realized when she
Met him, he was nothing like she had imagined him. She became scared, but the man grabbed
Her and tried to force her in his car. She said no but he persisted roughly. This was a test
Of her faith, which was very strong. The neighbor saw the struggle and came running to aid her
And when he did the strange man pulled a knife and stabbed the neighbor. Terry was screaming
And the man got in his car and drove away. “I was able to get his plate number.” Said Terry.
She ran to the neighbor. “Oh Mr. Dan thank you for saving me.” She pulled off her outer sweater
And pressed it on the wound. He was badly injured but felt as if an angel were taking care of him
An angel named Terry.
