There are ways to get upgraded memberships on WDC without paying for them with cash. It depends on your involvement in the community (specifically, reviewing other authors). I recommend checking out "Request An Upgrade From RAOK" . Your account must be at least one month old, but you're nearing that mark now.

As for reviews, if someone doesn't want feedback, they are welcome to set their items to Email Only or Reviews Only; No Ratings (just click the in the upper right corner of an item). You have lots of control over the types of feedback you get here. Also, if you're looking for more reviews, I suggest adding your item to "Please Review" . You are right that newbies usually get reviews in the first few days to welcome them to WDC. After that, you may want to get proactive about it. I also recommend choosing the genres wisely and using all three genre slots so that people can more easily find them.
