bobneH .. aka.. just bob ![]() ![]() As for the novelette point, it wasn't that I didn't want to review longer work, just not long work of pure romance. ![]() It seems we'll have to be divided into two groups, so it would be great if people would give some info as to how long their stories usually are (do you mostly write short stories or novels), how often they think writing group members should submit to one another, writing experience, favorite subgenres, and anything else that might be useful for creating the best groups. I write mostly short stories (including flash fiction and novelettes) and writing exercises. I think submission every other 3 or 4 weeks would be optimal, but I won't mind higher or lower frequencies. I've only been writing for about 1½ years but been taking it quite seriously for the last year since I realized this was a hobby I enjoyed much more than anything I'd ever done. I read more fantasy than science fiction (probably a 75/25 split), and my favorite stories are usually the ones that brings new stuff to the genres compared to the very Tolkinesque '70s and '80s fantasy.
