If you want to have some fun, just look for the mistakes the early Sci-Fi writers made as to Future Tech. .. They had no idea what was coming.

[ a ten story building crammed with millions of Plastic PUNCH CARDS]

That's why I never Describe Future Tech except in a very vague way.
( I'll admit I have violated that rule a few times, so I should have said 'seldom')
