The story was longer than it should have been for the contest but if the story hits you I'm not going to stifle that creativeness.

NEW PROMPT: I've been reading my favorite series lately, quite an old one but it's inspiring me to write more, it's the Landover series by Terry Brooks.

I want you to write a story based on your favorite novel/series. Let us know what has inspired your story. It can be fanfic or set in the same world or purely inspired by the novel.

You have until midnight on Sunday March 15 to write a story up to 3000 words!
