What a great turnout we had for this activity! Ten of us took up the challenge, with eight of those qualifying for a prize... seven of which went all twelve days and earned themselves the prestigious and exclusive Talent Pond Merit Badge!  This was one of those activities that I realized after-the-fact was a lot more difficult than I originally intended. I've usually got a pretty good sense of the level of complexity or involvement an activity will take, but every once in a while the 'ol forecasting powers aren't quite up to snuff and I end up coming up with something that's way easier or harder than I intended it to be. In this case, it was definitely harder trying to complete this challenge without repeating a recipient... AND you all did it during the traditional twelve days of Christmas when many of us are traveling and/or fulfilling family obligations. I would like to point out that this is probably one of the closest competitions I've run for Blog Harbor. With this particular challenge, I decided to score each blog entry on a scale from one to ten based on how well the blog entry accomplished the assignment and detailed the experience. Extra points were awarded as promised if someone went above-and-beyond and followed the extra criteria... and at the end of the activity, I added up the total number of points for each blog entry to get an aggregate score, with the highest score winning the Awardicon. I'm not going to release the individual scores, but I wanted to provide all that background because I think it's worth noting that, out of a total possible 120 points (not including bonus points), the top three bloggers were only separated by a five-point spread! There was a three-point difference between 1st and 2nd place, and a two-point difference between 2nd and 3rd! So even though they didn't win... they got awfully close with their excellent blogging over the past twelve days, so please give a round of applause to 🌖 HuntersMoon and pinkbarbie for their amazing efforts! I'll be sending a little extra something to each of them for their exceptional blogging.But in the end, there can only be one. And the winner of the 12 Days of Christmas Awardicon is...
