I just finished listening to "Ender in Excile." As before it is a story about a genius manipulator doing it all for everyone elses good. It was the genesis of another question I posed. Card really is a genius manipulator of emotion. Perhaps that is his secret to writing about the super-intelligent given his own extra-ordinary gifts.

Is he getting better or am I just sleep deprived and suffering the effects of low T? It used to be that he could squeeze a couple of tears out of me per book. This one messed me up quite a few times more.
