Acid Tongued

Hi, I'm Maggie and new to this site, when I saw this forum it made perfect sense to me. I just finished a fictional manuscript that may be a little offensive to some people. My main character is a woman with many opinions and she doesn't believe in being PC. The story is not dark humor but it has a lot a facets. The story starts in the early 1990's and works its way up to today. The story has everything, office romance, tragedies and religion. This is my first manuscript and I'm aware that some people are put off by religion. Let me start by saying the point of this book is not to impose specific views on the reader, it just that religion is part of the characters lifestyle. She is real bitch trying to save herself. My question while trying to be published is it possible to publish a non-religious book with religious content? I appreciate your input.
