This contest makes me wonder...

...whether I'm a real writer at all. Why does it just flow out of some people, but it's so difficult for me? This is my first attempt at a novel. I usually write short fiction (flash, etc.) and poetry. I wonder if I'm cut out for novel writing. I'm used to writing about whatever inspires me at the moment. This is not easy.

I'm not even sure what exactly my plot is, or where I want to go with this story. Losing confidence. :(
