Noticing Newbies

Hi there TtF,

Welcome back. How utterly rude of life to interfere with our plans, huh? It happens to many of us most of the time. I think it was John Lennon who said something to the effect of 'Life is what happens while we're busy making other plans.' I joined back in April but hadn't been active until recently. I fondly remember those friendly e-mails from WdC reminding me I hadn't logged on in X^# months. Now I'm thankful for those reminders.

There are many newsletters on this site that offer guidance to the mechanics of writing. I struggle with some of the mechanics and found these resources quite valuable. One off-site resource I use is Purdue OWL
