Miss Bee and Running Bear: I grinned as I read of your experiences with spiders. I've never met a spider that scared me; even the really big ones that find their way inside the house as the weather turns cold.......Molly has great fear and shuddering, running away, "never go in that room again" fear when she sees a spider..........so I go into the room, using a soft tissue, I pick up the spider and set it free outside the house. I watch them and help them like when the big wooley is stuck in the bathtub and can't climb out.....I get a tissue and carry it outdoors and set it free. I wonder what that means? There's really only one kind of critter that scares the dickens from me........a snake too close by.......last time I saw one by the fence, I ran to the neighbor who came and carried the bull snake away; bull snakes are good not bad; they kill rats and mice, vermin. I've been wondering about the things of nature not animals or insects or feathered creatures, that have meaning for me; First I think of trees and how important they are to me; and of skies, clouds, rainbows which I find beautiful, the moon is always beautiful and peaceful to me; sounds: I love the howling of the wolf for it's sustained beauty. I fear the power of the wind .... probably from my days in Oklahoma when we feared tornadoes striking when the weather turned strangely quiet. fire? I have no extreme emotion to fire, neither fear nor delight.........as long as it is never close enough to burn/hurt me. It is a new experience to consider how all living things are to me since I've not given much thought to their affect unless it was something that gave me joy just to see it: the red cardinal, the lowly turtle, the pictures/movies of black panther and wolves, the delight of a covey of quail; the strength and sleekness of a beautiful healthy horse; the winsome way of a baby lamb...... ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
