XD My older sister was really spoiled, and still is. She always had to have the best clothes and toys. I often took some of my older brother's and younger brother's toys, and got along better with my older brother. Oh jeeze. When I see a spider, I tense up and feel like turning around and running away. Webbie had a garden spider on her porch on day, and I was very apprehensive. I didn't really want to sit there, but Webbie was there with me and assured me that it wasn't going to jump on me. Still gave me the creeps. Oh man. I really can't handle spiders. I don't even kill them. I sit there and scream. If I'm desperate in the shower and one is creeping up on me, I kinda just throw water at it so that it isn't dangling in front of me anymore. I remember when my house was infested with cockroaches. It was most disgusting. I also remember the first time i remember ever seeing a roach. A science teacher had a little terrarium filled with hissing cockroaches. They were pretty creepy. I certainly wouldn't want those anywhere near me. Funny that you mention bats, though. There used to be a large group of bats that lived behind my grandmother's house. At night, we would throw dog kibble up into the air and watch them swoop down and catch it. I remember sleeping over a friend's house down the street from grandma, and a rabid bat was in their house. I wasn't afraid of it, but they wouldn't let me grab it and put it outside. Instead, the parents told us to leave the room so that they could take care of it. When I was 16, I had the pleasure of laughing at someone I didn't like as they screamed about a bat that flew out of the 'tv closet' at them. The poor little bat was terrified, trying to find a way out. I caught it in a towel, trying to soothe it a bit before bringing it outside so that it can eat those darn mosquitoes in the night sky. I think out of bats, my favorite is the flying fox. They are so darn cute! Well, like, when they aren't crapping everywhere and being rabid. |
