Native American Writing Class-room/forum

I wrote my first discussion topic which I thought would start a conversation, but I posted it in direct response to "Attention Class!"
but learned not to reply on a serious topic there; I will keep trying to post properly. Until the lounge, I've not dealt with'threaded views' so I got mixed up trying to find all the entries; still am not sure how but will keep trying.

I wanted to share my deep feelings about having heard 'direct from you' just how bad the "I-word" is and to emphasize that I will work extremely hard to never say the word again, and to remind others in my life to not use the word. I learned as a child not to use the "n-word" regarding African Americans and I can say I have never spoken it since childhood; even then it was only in a silly 'ditty' sayin' used often by children in Oklahoma. I hate the "F-word" used against lesbians and gays and have challenged any lesbian or gay person who has used it 'in jest'; Such words need to be obliterated from our culture. I'm not afraid to 'challenge' any speaker of any language who uses the word in my presence.

I want to share my soul's interest in learning more about 'the circle of life' and am grateful I will be learning about it from you who have known about the 'circle of life' all of your life. I have great respect for each culture I learn about and it becomes a part of my very soul when it is taught with respect.
