In front of you is a key,
to what you may ask.
This key is something special,
something I can't hold back.

Put it in your pocket,
and carry it day to day,
so you will always know,
that I am here to stay.

Forever and a moment,
is how long I will be around,
to laugh with you when you're happy,
and cry with you when you're down.

To kiss away the tears,
and walk holding your hand,
my love for you grows more each day.
I hope you understand.

If God would take you from me,
while I in my dream state,
I would pray for him to let you,
wait for me at the gate.

For I would not be far behind,
because I would not survive,
without you holding me near,
and being right there by my side.

So take this little gold key,
and let it play the part,
for the key you hold in the palm of your hand,
is the key to my very own heart.
