I logged into Duotrope and took a look at my stats. My longest rejection wait looks like it was from Plain Spoke for poetry at a whopping 298 days. My shortest rejection wait was Sugared Water for poetry at 3 days. That doesn't include any I just gave up on because I never heard from them at all.
My shortest acceptance was 1 day for a short story anthology and the longest was 228 days for poetry at Strong Verse. (Strong Verse has since been on Duotrope's list of Slowest Markets. So slow, in fact, that I gave up on hearing from them the last time I submitted. But they also pay well, so it was a risk I was willing to take.)
If you have a Duotrope subscription, they have a nice list of "The Slowest," "The Fastest," "The Challenging" and "The Approachable." It's good amusement when I'm bored.
