Well done! You've turned this into a very natural portrayal of events from daughter to mother, and I love the enthusiasm that shines through. I got a great sense of the location you were describing, and your use of figurative language is well placed and is inserted as it would be in a natural conversation. You took the task and used it in a creative way.
