well, I didn't get a laptop until 6th grade, when having one in the house wasn't enough. And since I got one, that meant my sister did, too. Then, as a nice gift, my uncle gave me another laptop in 11th grade, installed with the full Adobe Suite, probably since my mom mentioned that I was in the school yearbook. As for phone, my first one was also 6th grade, because my mom needed to know where I was, since she was running two different schools for pickup. It was her old flip phone, and she got herself a new Nokia phone. My sister got her even older old phone.
