For the most part, it's best not to recreate items that once existed that have since been deleted, normally by the deactivation of a person's account. The reason for this is because people who might have once added to the original campfire/interactive might not be too pleased to find a copycat.
That being said, there's nothing wrong with Spin-Offs, Remakes, or items that are Suspiciously Similar, so long as credit is given to the original author/s. As it is, I could create a story about a Warrior-King who took ten years to get Home, only to fight a bunch of men trying to marry his wife, and then get tested by his wife, so long as I say that the story is based off of the Odyssey by Homer. That being said, I can't recreate the tale word-for-word and take sole credit, as I'm sure that there'd be a Greek soldier awaiting me in the afterlife that didn't like that.
