Hmm... my first thought was tying to make her/himself more comfortable with flying by climbing a ladder, but the ladder isn't very stable on clouds. *Wink* Quirky idea you have there! Somehow, I think that you might fit in well with the Pantsers. Wacky idea, no plot etc in mind, just writing... that's sort of their "thing".
