Review request of first chapter of Horror story/Thriller/
Hello,
If you have the inclination I have a story that I'd appreciate your insight into how it works. I'm working on writing this in past tense.

The Italics are written in a different font to make it stand out.

I've tried to get the repetitiveness out. Have I done it yet? Some of it is to add emphasis and increase tension.
