If I had a time machine there are many time periods that I would want to visit. However, I would go only as an observer so as not to interrupt history and change the course of time. I would love to visit Roman Britain, Saxon Britain, Norman times, see privateers on the Spanish Main, the American West, Alexander II's Russia, see the Vikings and observe how they travelled around the world in their longboats - my list is endless but it would be so much fun.
