Daily Flash Fiction Challenge

"Who was eating Snickers bites?" Lucy asked. The girls all smile and laugh. They begin to engage in a captivating conversation.
"I like cold snickers-" Jessica drawls.
"Oh I can't eat those." Lucy shrugs.
"Well I can't either anymore, my teeth can't handle it."
"Exactly, so I just don't eat it." Betty adds. They continue talking about the ups and downs of frozen and regular snickers.
"I tried to blend Snickers to make like, a blizzard or something but it didn't work." Betty frowns.
"You want to know the secret?" Lucy smiles across the wide table at her friends.
"Yes!" The girls say in unison.
"You put the candy in between two towels and you-" Lucy throws hands up, pretending to hold a mallet, "HIT IT WITH A HAMMER!" She imitates smashing the candy and the girls eyes widen.
"OOOOOOOH!" Betty and Jessica exclaim happily.
"It has to be a trick!" Betty looks at Jessica.They look as if they just got handed all the answers in the world, or a million dollars. Family outings are the best.
