I think the biggest thing with this wouldn't be coding it so it works, but rather it would cause a lot of visual clutter in the portfolio header. With the way it is now, it keeps it clean and easy to read everything there. If you start showing 3, 4, or 5 awards at the top it becomes overwhelming for anyone viewing the portfolio.
