Contest to work on your book

I would love to see a contest that encourages writers to write but not just new short things. Maybe a contest that you have to submit a first chapter to enter and then each chapter you add to the first, is eligible for the contest. I know I would like to have that kind of motivation to keep my book project moving forward. I would be willing to help with such a contest as a proof reader or just by contributing points. Anyway, just thought a contest that encourages folks to tackle the BIG writing projects would be a nice addition.
