That's my point. If there was a means to witness history when it happened, wouldn't that answer those questions. I would also want to do it as an observing party. Being I would be unknown to what was happening. This way I wouldn't have to worry about be a slave, gladiator or a Bostonian dressed up like an Indian.

History was written by the victor from a political or economic viewpoint. To see it happen first hand with no bias would take the glamour out of what we know history to be, as its told in most text books.
