Noticing Newbies

Hi Everyone,

Having followed writing.com on Twitter for the past few months I finally bit the bullet and decided to join and post some of my writing for feedback! I'm an avid reader and love everything from the Romantic Classics to Song of Ice and Fire.
I studied English Lit at University but didn't really get a chance to do much creative writing. I've attended a few courses over the years but find myself painfully shy when it comes to talking about my own writing (as many writers do I'm sure!).
This year I've decided to put myself out there a bit more and this is the first step to doing that!
Hope to meet many like-minded people on the journey.
