Hi,
I’m a vetern of the military and love to write, draw, read, sew, and play video games (mostly RPG and strategy).
I grew up a Navy Brat, moving around the States. Probably why I joined the military (Air Force). It was my folks, mostly my dad, who put me on to reading. I started with reading the Xanth series by Pierce Anthony and the Myth series by Robert Aspirin. From then on I was hooked on books. All kinds really. Although I think I’m always partial to fantasy, I do try to stretch my mind with mysteries, spiritual, historical, and science fiction.
I do write poetry, short stories, and I’m currently working on a novel, and an auto-biography. I also like short-shorts. Sometimes I can even see a picture for either my stories or poetry. So, I draw what I see and the artwork goes with the story or poem. That’s actually rare though.
I have had 5 poems published in the “Who’s Who Among Poet’s” a few times.
I guess that’s it. I hope to be a good part of this community.
