Hi Laura, and welcome to Writing.Com. Perhaps it will help your ro know that each and every one of us were just like you now--we all joined a complex writing site with aspirations of improving our own writing. As someone said earlier, just take things one step at a time and you'll soon be navigating this wonderful site.
