Time to update...it is Friday already - and where did that week go??
Writing Goals:
I continued to do my 750 words each day – getting my writing streak to 58 days by Friday
I will continue with my Nanowrimo Novel - I did not spend any time on this but hope to over the weekend.
I tried to participate in other PDG member’s activities – to get to know all of them – there are 12 of us now! I checked this site several times this week but no one has added anything new to check out - I will continue to check over the weekend.
I continued to be Santa’s Helper this week – I have until 5pm on December 31 to complete my tasks - I managed to do them all!
I will try my hand at writing a few sonnets for a contest that is due January 6 - I have given this some thought but nothing has yet found its way to the page - I am not giving up yet, though.
I added at least one entry to my blog - In fact, I linked up to Rhonda's Welcome to My Reality page and did three entries and I expect to do another one tonight before bed.
Reading Goals:
I have signed on for 10 books to read for the month of January on Writing.com. I have completed 5 so far!
I am still reading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
I finished reading Joanna Trollope’s modernized version of Sense and Sensibility.
Teaching Goals:
I will work on planning out my school days to make it a lively sensory experience for my students when I go back in January - I have been putting this off but I still have the weekend.
Other:
I am going to try to organize my spare bedroom – get the junk organized - this I still did not get to - and I know I need to do it!
I will get my house tidied up for the New Year! I did some of this, though not nearly enough - the bathrooms and kitchen are clean and some of the clutter is ousted.
Some ups, some downs but overall a great first few days of the New Year.
