Noticing Newbies

         Hello, my name is Alice and I'm new to this site. I am a bookworm and an aspiring writer, but I have never had the guts to submit my work to the public before. I hope this will be a good site for me to grow as an author and learn more about the arts of literature. Please, check out my bio. Also, if you could, I'd love it if you'd read the short story I posted and tell me what you think of it. Seeing as this is my first real step to gaining confidence in my writing and eventually getting published, it would really be helpful to receive some input on things I did well and things I should improve on.
