Yes the x means that it has been completed. Darleen is the one who takes care of the tracking and once she gets five in a row (with x's) completed she chances them to c's which means she has issued the free ticket for each group of five completed in a row. So as long as the deed is not blank it means you have completed it. Sorry for the confusion.
