Totally normal. One year I wrote 100K in November and then another 25K something to actually finish the thing after. This year I'd already started my novel in August and already had 36K before Nano. Even when the end of November with another 50K added on rolls around, I probably won't be finished with it. I *just* revealed the major conflict point of the story and I'm pretty sure I'm somewhere around 46K words.
But I always rewrite my first drafts completely the second time around, and that ends up cutting out a good quarter of the story. For the 125K something novel I'm aiming for 80-90K for the second draft.
