Well, next year I recommend that you sign up for "October Novel Prep Challenge"  [13+] in October. It'll definitely help you figure out all those things that you're unsure about. This year, maybe you should ask yourself what it would take for you to be productive in the time you have left. You say you have lots of story ideas. Could you just start one and see where it goes? Remember that NaNo is about getting your ideas down on paper, and it doesn't have to be perfect. If you want to write something this month, then just start writing it, and know tat you have a huge support team behind you, doing NaNo with you. You can always go back and and fill in the gaps later.
