This is not an exercise in who can be published, rather it is to learn that we can put a story down, to teach us that we have one inside us. It isn't who writes the best story, it's not even about writing a good story, (because first drafts never are worth a crap so say, George Orwell, Brandon Sanders and Steven King). it's about letting yourself go trusting your muse. It's not like you even need to read your story in-front of the class. Write what pops into your head. take any of the pictures in in there and run with them. Don't worry about where they take you or even if it makes a lot of sense. Just open up the theater in your mind, watch a few scenes then go back and write them down.
