October Novel Prep Challenge

Well, see, I was on the Interstate. And well-posted on this road before the bridge is a sign that says there have been 500-some traffic related deaths. Once you cross the bridge, there is another sign that says there have been nearly 300 traffic related deaths. (Both of those are for 2013 alone, but I do not know for how long a stretch of road they're counting.)

It's a good reminder to keep eyes on the road, hands on the wheel, and a lot of space between the other cars.
